“After two years, seven weekends, countless conversations and shared moments, the time has come to complete this animation course that left a mark on each of us. Our last meeting was held from May 8 to 10 in the city of Kazanlak. We knew that this was the finale, so instead of counting the remaining hours, we chose to live them to the fullest. The topic of the last meeting was led by a doctor and was focused on first aid. A skill that requires not only knowledge, but also calmness, responsibility and readiness to react in need. After the topic, we tested everything we learned through practical exercises. During the weekend, there was no shortage of adventures that the animators will surely remember for a lifetime. We also had quiet, peaceful moments, filled with conversations, memories of past meetings, common plans for the future and lots of laughter.
During the course, we saw how these young people grow before our eyes, discover themselves themselves, their talents and gain confidence. We were there for them in their first steps as animators, when they had to come up with and present their program, and in many more moments that will remain forever in our hearts. These young people were not just
listeners in the course, but took an active part in every meeting, helped us in working with children, participated in the camps we organize, and helped in their parishes. And now, when the animator course is over, their desire does not end. They move forward more confident in themselves, united and knowing that they have people they can always rely on. And while they go their own way, we are already preparing to launch a new animator course, in which everyone who wants to can join.”
