On the 3rd of May 2026, our football team “Don Bosko – Lozenets” took part in the first selection tournament for the “Team of Hope” in the city of Sofia. This is the first of a total of 5 tournaments in which our boys will have the opportunity to be selected for the national team, which will represent Bulgaria at international tournaments in Poland and at the World Cup in Mexico City. During the tournament, the players got acquainted with the rules of the 3+1 game, also known as Volta football – a dynamic format requiring technique, quick thinking and good team play. The day passed with many emotions, new acquaintances and good mood, and the bananas between the matches, provided to the participants by the organizers, also helped the team’s energy.”
