On April 8th, at our Don Bosko Center, we celebrated The International Roma Day. We started with a presentation about the history of the Roma and how this holiday came about, what exactly is celebrated on this date.
The children also heard the Roma chem. We had a special guest, Dani Hristova, who has visited the Don Bosko Bulgaria Foundation from childhood to adolescence. She told the children about how important it is for a person to learn and develop, how society would perceive them differently if they are educated and have a profession.
The children answered questions related to the holiday and won sweet prizes. Then they moved around on the playground, participating in several competitive games.

Our volunteers from the European Solidarity Corps – Georgi Kavarkov – Gope and Marie Anna Kapicova – also took care of the organization and holding of the holiday.
