The sixth meeting of the animator course was held in the town of Kazanlak from February 21st to 23rd.
On the first evening, as a welcome, we organized a fun party “Black and White”, where everyone had the opportunity to show their knowledge, have fun and meet again.
The main topic of the meeting was related to working with children. Specifically, the rights of children who participate in our activities, especially during the camps, and the attention that animators should pay to ensure that these rights are respected. In addition, we discussed the importance of healthy and reasonable relationships between the animator and the child to ensure that the environment is safe and educational for everyone.
On Saturday afternoon, as part of the teamwork, the animators shot a video together, which will later be used for an upcoming party. Besides the video itself, the idea was to do something together as a group: some wrote the script, others prepared the set, others were actors, some took care of the filming, others the editing, etc. It was a very interesting afternoon because they managed to build a more active group dynamic.
Saturday ended with a “Talent Show”, in which everyone showed their various talents – music, singing, theater, magic tricks or “stand-up comedy”. It was an evening filled with lots of laughter, and most of all, everyone had the opportunity to appreciate the talents of the rest of the team.
The next day, we held an evaluation of the meeting and cleaned up to leave the space in even better condition than we had found it. In conclusion – it was a meeting that almost felt like a “farewell” as this animator course is coming to an end.”
