From 27.12 to 30.12.2025, “Catholic Scouts Bulgaria” held their camp once again. In this case, the camp was winter camp and our scouts from the “Don Bosko Bulgaria” Foundation had the opportunity to participate from the beginning to the end of the camp. In total, over 35 children were present. We were all divided into patrols. Together with our patrol, we did all the duties together, participated in the games and shared even our punishments. The day always started with a morning physical warm-up. After the warm-up, we enjoyed breakfast and only then the program
did begin. We had a formation, then we had games in patrols and we also had the opportunity to go twice into the deep snow and the frozen Smolyan Lakes, where we played our stage games. One of the most interesting things in the camp was also the evening vigils. During this activity, each patrol shows its own scene or sketch, which is previously set as a task for the patrols. The preparation for this task took about an hour. The patrols did a great job, there was a lot of laughter, tears and even a gypsy wedding. The camp went wonderfully, the cold did not scare us at all. We left happy and very tired, ready to welcome the new year 2026 at home with our families.”
