From November 21st to 23rd, a post-camp meeting was held in the town of Kazanlak with the aim of deepening the topics covered during the summer camps, as well as for the participants to meet again after the start of the new school year. The meeting was led by the animators, most of whom are participating in the animator course, as well as by the volunteers from the European Solidarity Corps – Georgi Kavarkov and Marie Anna Kapicova, working on the project “Education – the key to a better future”, co-financed by the EU “ECS” program, 2024-1-BG01-ESC51-VTJ-000223373 and 2025-1-BG01-ESC51-VTJ-000346438.
The theme of the meeting was “friendship”, developed through different moments and activities: artistic spaces (studios), games and moments of sharing. The atmosphere was very pleasant, as the participants were eagerly awaiting this meeting.
The meeting was not only held in the branch of the “Don Bosko Bulgaria – Kazanlak Branch” Foundation, but on Saturday afternoon we organized a game in the forest, which is located on the outskirts of the town.
The theme of the game was gladiators, and the evening ended with the expected good night wish presented by one of the young animators.
The meeting achieved the set goals and created in the participants a desire to participate again in the summer camps in the next year 2026.”
