“From March 14. till March 16., the girls from the “Don Bosko” Children’s Center, Stara Zagora, held their winter camp in the town of Kazanlak. 11 girls between the ages of 12 and 15 participated, accompanied by part of the foundation team /Anna Kisyova, Marcos Dalla Cia/, volunteers /Katerina Stancheva, Dani Mitkova, Frantisek Blaha, SDB/, from the European Solidarity Corps /Alvard Kara-Gevorgyan/ and the 16-year-old animator Hrisi Mitkova. Two participants were from the village of Kalitinovo.
The program included games and workshops. On Saturday, the program also included a walk in the mountain “Sredna Gora” to the panoramic landmark “Megalith” above the village of Buzovgrad.
The girls also had time to reflect on specific life examples that inspire.
The participants were very satisfied and are looking forward to the 2025 summer camp.”
