Don Bosko feast at Center “Don Bosko”, town of Stara Zagora, 31. of January 2025

On January 3. 2025, we celebrated the feast of St. John Bosko together with the children from our Don Bosko Center.
We had organized various workshops from which the children could choose to participate as they wished.
There were: diamond tapestry, making a bunny, a puzzle with the face of Don Bosko, cross embroidery, making a new hairstyle, a wheel of fortune, and for the more sporty types there was a mini basketball backboard.
The children had a lot of fun. They were diligent and with great interest, they participated in all the workshops.
We had guests from the Czech Republic, friends of Antonin Sikula /ESC volunteer under the project “Education – the key to a better future”, 2024-1-BG01-ESC51-VTJ-000223372, co-financed by the EU program “European Solidarity Corps”/, who willingly joined the activities together with the children. ESC volunteer Alvard Kara-Gevorgyan from Armenia /project “Education – a key to a better future”, 2024-1-BG01-ESC51-VTJ-000223372, co-financed by the EU program “European Solidarity Corps” / with a lot of patience and a big smile supported the children in their activities. Brandon Figueroa Gonzalez, who recently returned to our team from Italy, also helped in working with the children all the time. Georgi Kavarkov, also a volunteer at the foundation, supported one of the workshops.
The entire team of the foundation, as well as young people who honor the work of Don Bosko, were involved in the organization and implementation of the celebration.
At the end of the celebration, there was a treat for all the children and participants. Everyone left happy and smiling, with pleasant memories and souvenirs that they made themselves during the celebration.”
