“From April 26. to 28., a camp weekend was held for the boy scouts from the “Don Bosko” center, town of Stara Zagora. Boys from the two patrols who are currently training at the Center participated.
The children had the opportunity to practice their skills in nature. They also reflected on the value of one’s word and the commitment involved in fulfilling the Promise as a Scout.
During the walk in the mountains, the boys had the opportunity to take some of the exams provided for the way of their formation towards the Promise.
The most important lesson for them was to appreciate what they have at their disposal and to be able to make something good.”

The main organizer of the camp was the ESC volunteer Vaclav Venzl, who works in the town of Stara Zagora under the project “Education – key to a better future”, 2022-1-BG01-ESC51-VTJ-000080282, co-financed by the EU program “European solidarity corps”.
