The last meeting of the course was exciting and emotional for all of us. Again we were greeted with that warm and friendly feeling. After settling in and having dinner, we headed to the playground and there we had fun with the “Gopeto” games, which helped us to move well and play together as a team. At the end of the evening, we had a very nice evening prayer and a word for good night led by Marcos and Father Georgi.
The next day, many interesting activities awaited us. In the morning we had morning prayer and breakfast, and then we had a talk by Fr. Georgi that was very interesting and useful for us. Later we had time for spiritual talks, confession and preparation for the rosary. After that, we also had a Western rite liturgy led by Fr. Georgi and Fr. Cvrkal. After that, we again had the opportunity to enjoy the delicious lunch prepared for us by Fanda, whom we thank for all the hard work and love for food for these 2 years. In the afternoon, we went to the forest, where our game took place (we had to play the role of a truck, moving a tire along a certain road). We definitely learned perseverance, hard work, teamwork and the desire to continue despite fatigue from her, we thank the organizers for her!
In the evening, in the program, we were tasked with preparing a clip, from our side – the animators, in which we would explain what we have learned so far and present it in an interesting way (thanks to Kateto and Joro for the funny skit). We also watched another video prepared by our organizers, played fun games and received our long-awaited certificates and gift. The day ended with our evening prayer (reflections on the life of Mary from the context of events described in the Gospel) and a word for good night from Joro. Sunday flew by and it was time to part again, only this time with a sadder feeling, knowing that we would not be coming back for another course together. This course gave me a lot not only emotionally but also taught me many moral and spiritual values. Thank you to everyone who did their best for us and made these 2 years unforgettable memories! It’s not goodbye, it’s just goodbye, so see you soon! :)”
