Cooking workshop – Indian kitchen

In preparation for the winter camp this year, we met with the girls on two consecutive Saturdays /16.01.21 and 23.01.21/ to learn how to cook some Indian specialties. At the first meeting we learned the recipe and the implementation of the Indian dessert “Jelabi”. On the second – we learned how to make Indian bread “Chapati” and “Vegetable curry”. We had guests who presented the recipes very interestingly. These were the medical student at the University of Stara Zagora Arif from Bangladesh, Monica and chef Ventsi from Stara Zagora. The children were very impressed and the results were delicious dishes that we ate with pleasure.
The volunteers from the European Solidarity Corps Radek Steingart and Anna Rotreklova also took part in the workshops. They work in Kazanlak and Stara Zagora under the project “Education – the key to a better future 2”, 2020-2-BG01-ESC11-079379, co-financed by the EU – ESC program.
