This year’s girls’ camp was truly magical. This was largely thanks to the creative theme of Narnia, which transported the children into the enchanting world of the film. They were surrounded by themed decorations and elements that made the experience even more exciting.
I can still remember the surprise and joy in their eyes on the first evening, when they stepped through the wardrobe for the first time and discovered Mr Tumnus inside. Many of our games were also inspired by Narnia and its characters. The animators transformed themselves into fun and fascinating characters with the help of creative costumes, making every game feel even more real and exciting.
Our workshops were filled with laughter, colours and creative chaos – the tables, and often even our faces, were covered in paint, but this only added to the cheerful atmosphere.
As every year, the children actively participated in preparing the morning and evening prayers. They shared many beautiful and original ideas that helped us deepen our relationship with Jesus.
The evening programmes were full of games, dancing and great fun. We even turned ourselves into a TV show, which brought even more smiles and unforgettable moments.
Our walk through the forest was especially enjoyable. We visited beautiful viewpoints, and the children used their imagination to discover similarities between the nature around us and places from Narnia.
The camp became an unforgettable experience that left us with countless beautiful memories and created friendships that will remain in our hearts forever. We are extremely happy that we had the opportunity to organise this wonderful camp and to meet so many kind, cheerful and amazing girls!
